Everyone who's willing to open their heart to wonder is welcome at the Paper Play Theatre in Theatre Upon a Star DanceSwan's studios during the Paseo's Festival of Arts. Noon to 6 P.M., Saturday, Sunday and Monday, is the time for puppet making -- materials are provided, and dancers interpret the stories children tell, or even whisper, to storytellers Elizabeth Muller and Joanne Alexander. Performances are every 15 minutes. There will also be a puppet parade.
This year's theme is about "finding, experiencing and acknowledging the wonder," says Elizabeth Muller. "They get to experience the creativity of making the puppets and the stories."
Lorrie Keller is the artistic director and founder of Theatre Upon a Star DanceSwan.
For everyone going to the Paseo Arts Festival, free shuttle bus parking will be available at the First Christian Church located at 36th & Walker during festival hours.
