PERPETUAL MOTION'S
FAULT LINE
MESMERIZING

Fault Line, performed Saturday night, by Perpetual Motion Dance to a full house, was a
mesmerizing work of a mature modern and aerial dance company.

The performance long work was a deeply involving combination of modern and aerial dance, the
films of K. Edward Van Osdol, and the electronic music led off by a Kandling Ray selection.
The aerial work included single and double harnesses, a horizontal ladder, and the silks, as
the company continues to find more ways to work with and break from gravity.

The choreographers were director Michelle Moeller, Stephanie Crosby, Kayla Jenkins, Kim Kieffer,
Amy Nevius, Katie Noble, Summer Peppler and artist in residence Amy Querin of Fresno Dance
Collective.

As Moeller pointed out, the company was awarded a Mid-America Alliance grant for its creation,
one of only three in Oklahoma.

The final performance is at 2 p.m. today, Sunday, May 17th at the Contemporary Arts
Center.
