TO HOLD AUDITIONS

Race is growing into their Fifth season and wanting to expand.  "Be a part of Oklahoma’s only professional Jazz/Hip Hop/Contemporary Dance Company," writes artistic director Hui Cha Poos.
The three ways to be a part of the Race family are through Race Dance Company, Jr., Race, or the new Men of Race.  Race Dance Company is the main performance company comprised of dancers and apprentices wanting to experience professional dance in Oklahoma. 
"There is no age limit for Race Dance Company, but we encourage mature, responsible adults to audition.  Jr. Race is our training company made up of dancers 15-18 who want the experience of performing and training with the best in Oklahoma.  Men of Race is new this season & will feature male Hip Hop dancers."

WHAT:          
Auditions for Jr. Race 11:00-1:00 PM
Auditions for Race Dance Company 12:00-2:00 PM
Auditions for Men of Race 1:00-3:00 PM
WHEN:            Saturday August 24th
WHO:                      Dancers interested in joining Race, Jr., Race or Men of Race
WHERE:            University of Central Oklahoma (Broncho Choral)

BASIC INFO:  Dancers can only audition for one company.  Please come 30 min. early to warm up & be ready to learn choreography during audition times.  Choreography will include Jazz/Contemporary/Hip Hop styles for Jr. and Race Company.  Hip Hop only for Men of Race.
Head-shots and resumes are preferred but not required.  Cost is $25 to audition.
