This ballet is a classical telling of the ages-old theme that has inspired dancers for generations. Giselle
has its origins in 19th century French ballet, and will be retold on
the Civic Center Stage, October 23-25. A dramatic and gorgeous ballet,
it is the tale of a young girl with a passion for dancing but dies of a
broken heart. The Oklahoma City Philharmonic joins us to bring Adolphe
Adam's score vividly to life in this, THE Quintessential ballet of the romantic era.
