Moving Forward

Join us for the opening reception of "Moving Forward" by artists Lauren Midgley and Christie Owen.

Individual Artists of Oklahoma is thrilled to share this work with our community. Both artists explore their progress and forward momentum with vastly different approaches, but share a kindred sense of curiosity and wonder. From the subtle surrealism of Midgley's photographs, to the exuberant textures of Owen's bold abstractions, these two take the viewer on a journey through their processes and experiences.

Monthly Poetry Readings:   Last Sunday Poetry Reading (Featuring Carl Sennhenn) Full Circle Bookstore Sunday, April 28th at 2pm Meet us at Full Circle Bookstore, 1900 NW Expressway, Oklahoma City (Inside 50 Penn Place), for an afternoon of spoken word. This month's reading will feature former Oklahoma Poet Laureate Carl Sennhenn followed by an open mic reading.   Oklahoma Voices (Featuring Ron Wallace) IAO Gallery Sunday, May 5th at 2pm Join us in the IAO Gallery for poetry the first Sunday of each month! Enjoy a featured poet, and bring a poem of your own to share. Our featured poet this month is Ron Wallace.
