Wildlife Photography with Tom Ulrich
Acclaimed photographer Tom Ulrich is coming to Oklahoma City to share his skills and stories of adventure.
An award-winning photographer for National Geographic, National Wildlife, Audubon, Outdoor Oklahoma, and others, Ulrich has scoured the globe in search of the perfect wildlife shot.

of all skill levels can spend personal time with Ulrich as he talks
about the best methods for capturing nature at its finest. During the
workshop, Ulrich will answer questions about technique and camera
technology.
Cost: $50 per person, paid directly to Ulrich the day of the event. Class fee includes a copy of one of Ulrich's books.

WETLANDS WORKSHOP
March 29, 9:15 a.m.-3:15 p.m.
Do you want to learn more about Oklahoma's wetlands? Then join us for
this workshop to learn about the importance of wetlands in Oklahoma,
as well as the flora and fauna which inhabit them.
We'll also talk about the steps it takes to become a Master Naturalist.
Bring a dish for all to share in our potluck lunch. FREE

MAKE YOUR OWN RAIN BARREL!

Help your garden grow and conserve
water by signing up for our Rain Barrel
workshop on Saturday, April 12. Barrels and kits will be supplied to help residents create and decorate to use at home.
Two classes are available and SPACE IS LIMITED to 12 participants each.
Registration is required.
After the class, stay and play during Martin Park Nature Center's Earth Fest outdoor eco-festival. We'll have eco-friendly education and children's activities from 1-4 p.m.
Thanks to the Great Plains Coca-Cola Bottling Company, the City of Oklahoma's Water Utilities Trust, Sustainable OKC and Six Twelve for providing barrels, barrel plumbing kits and volunteer instruction.

No registration required!
Martin Park Nature Center is hosting a party for the planet and you're
invited! Join us for eco-friendly fun that includes interactive
education booths, kids activities, an alt-fuel vehicle display, a rain
barrel give-away and more!
Education programs include:
- Aquaponics
- Composting with worms
- Bee hive management
- "Blue Thumb" water testing
- E-citizen reporting on bird and animal migration
Kids activities include:
- Terrarium making
- Creating flower pots from recycled materials
- Bagel birdfeeders
- Water Cycle bracelets
- Recycle relay race
PLUS! Visits from Mother Earth, Terry the Trashasaurus, Wayne Drop and Cycler the Robot.
During Earth Fest, the OKC Storm Water Quality office will hold a raffle for a FREE rain barrel.
