OKC BALLET OFFERS $13 RUSH
TICKETS TO NUTCRACKER

Oklahoma City Ballet has announced that discounted tickets will be offered 30 minutes prior to curtain time for those not able to afford full-priced tickets to this year's production of The Nutcracker.

“We have had so many people contact us saying they wish they could attend but cannot afford to take their family, that just is not right. The arts are for everyone,” said Executive Director Shane Jewell. “Everyone should experience the magic of the beautiful production.”

Rush tickets are only $13 per ticket, but will only be available 30 minutes prior to curtain time. There are no guarantees for seat placements or number of seats together.

Performances take place on Friday, Dec. 18 at 7 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 19 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.; Sunday, Dec. 20 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., and Monday, Dec. 22 at 7 p.m.

In addition, Oklahoma City Ballet will be taking “Ticket donations” for those not able to afford even the discounted cost of the tickets.  For every $13 donated to this program, 1 ticket will be provided free of charge to an attendee that cannot afford it.  All performances take place at the Civic Center Music Hall, 201 North Walker, Oklahoma City.

If you would like to help underwrite the cost of this program, please visit www.okcballet.com/donate and note “Nutcracker tickets” in the “In honor of” section.
All “Rush Discount” tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis.  Simply go to the box office 30 minutes prior to the show desired and ask for the rush discounted ticket.
