DANCE COMPANY AUDITIONS

Newly forming contemporary dance company, Dance Theatre OKC, will hold an audition Wednesday, August 28th at 6:30 PM, at Oklahoma City Community College, located at 7777 S. May Ave. 

Male and female adult/teen dancers with training in ballet, modern dance and/or jazz are urged to attend.  Company members and apprentices will be selected.  Apprentices will work with the company and have performance opportunities as they progress.  Company dancers will have dance technique class and dance conditioning twice weekly, followed by rehearsal. There are no class charges or audition fees.

The audition will be held in the dance/aerobics room (Room 1C4) in the Wellness Center on the west side of campus.   Participants should bring either ballet or jazz shoes, or dance paws.   The audition will be conducted in the form of a low-stress dance class.  The audition is closed to the public and only audition participants will be allowed entrance.
