PERPETUAL MOTION DANCE

Seeking New Dancers

Perpetual Motion is seeking 2-3 dancers to be a part of our dynamic and groundbreaking company for the 2015-2016 season. Significant modern dance experience required. Dance degree preferred. No aerial dance experience necessary, but helpful. Creative mind, willingness to collaborate and a positive attitude a must!

Audition will consist of a modern dance class, followed by an aerial dance combination. Please come dressed in fitting dance clothes, with the knees covered (no shorts). Bring resume and headshot/dance photo if available.

Perpetual Motion rehearses Sun/Mon/Wed and performs an average of twice a month in addition to rehearsal time. The season will begin immediately after auditions through June 2016. Commitment to the rehearsal and performance schedule is mandatory.

Perpetual Motion extends a huge thank you to all of the Oklahoma Contemporary Dance Festival choreographers and participants who performed July 24th-25th! These dancers created an innovative and creative experience for all ages to witness expanding the dance community within Oklahoma City! Congrats to a successful show!

PM2 YOUTH COMPANY AUDITIONS

In January 2011, Perpetual Motion Dance created PM 2 as an extension of our community education programming. By design, PM2 offers a professional dance experience for dancers ages 13 and older by providing the opportunity to train and perform alongside a community of professional dancers.

Through PM2, dancers gain insight into the inner workings of a professional, non-profit, dance company as well as learning modern, and aerial dance technique.

PM2 rehearsals will be Sundays 12:00-2:00pm.
