We're very excited here at Shartel World HQ because we think the new album will be arriving tomorrow: Wednesday, July 8th! And then we're going to throw them in the truck and head out to Okemah for a grand time at the Woody Guthrie Folk Festival!  We have a whole slew of appearances:  First, Wednesday night for the Bob Childers Tribute.  I love these concerts because every artist brings their unique voice to the music of this Red Dirt Founding Midwife. The show starts at 8:00 in the Crystal Theater in Downtown Okemah - not that hard to find, but the address is 401 W Broadway, 74859.  Proceeds from this concert benefit the festival.

Thursday, July 9th Louise & I are on the Pastures of Plenty Stage with our drummer, Randy Coyne. 8:00 is our time, followed by The Black Lillies and The Damn Quails...  Tom Skinner was scheduled but he's ill, and we're all praying for him to get better... he is a very dear person and a great musician.

Friday morning July 10th we're backing up people at the Brick Street - first Robert Williams at 11, and then TZ Wright at 12.

We're planning to participate in the Hoot for Huntington's on Sunday from 12 to 2.

Then we don't have anything until August:  the 1st at Full Circle, the 8th at UCO Jazz Lab.  We hope you'll join us then, too!
